In the era of AI saturation, OpenAI’s former VP of marketing expects human taste and craft to distinguish between success and failure as businesses implement the technology.”Taste is going to become a distinguishing factor in the age of AI because there’s going to be so much drivel that is generated by AI,” said Krithika Shankarraman, a former OpenAI and Stripe employee who is currently an entrepreneur in residence at VC firm Thrive Capital, on a recent episode of Lenny’s Podcast. “That power is at anyone’s fingertips.”AI tools, in theory, make it that much easier to deploy and market a product.…

The Internal Revenue Service is expected to lean more heavily on artificial intelligence technology as it carries out widespread layoffs.A report, released last week by the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, found the IRS could leverage its examination results when using AI to select cases for further scrutiny and improve its processes. TIGTA noted that the IRS’s current tax return selection models have resulted in a high percentage of examinations that were completed with no change to the tax liability. However, that means resources are wasted on unproductive examinations and compliant taxpayers are unnecessarily burdened. AI models can improve…

Now that temperatures are rising, consider office attire:”If you love wearing tight little leather outfits that are strapped on, I don’t want to see that,” said Margie Warrell, a leadership consultant and author of the book “The Courage Gap.””That’s not appropriate,” she said. The whole-self idea is just one example…
